Jewel is an incredible filly with potential to be an excellent trail horse and companion. She was foaled right here at Ruffin Farms on Saturday, June 7, 2014. She has been a joy to watch grow. She was started under saddle just after turning 2 and has gotten better and better with every ride. She's a family favorite, gaining the affection of everyone that meets her. Our plans for her are to continue perfecting her running walk and eventually get a foal out of her. Check out her photos here.
She is currently in foal to Choctaw, a gorgeous chestnut tobiano SSH with cat marks over his white spots. Looking forward to a healthy foal on the ground in late March/early April 2018!
